Analysis
- Peak Brightness - adjusts the peak brightness of the brightest light sources (e.g. the sun in a test image)
- Standard Brightness - adjusts the exposure of the frame and the peak brightness of the brightest light sources
- Saturation - adjusts the color saturation
- Screen Brightness - determines the black level and visibility of objects in shadow
- Contrast - determines the depth of black
Try to find data about the peak brightness of your TV on the site RTINGS.COM (value HDR peak brightness 10%). Before adjusting, make sure you have set the TV settings correctly.
Brightness
The Peak Brightness slider sets the peak brightness of the brightest sources (for example, the sun in a test image, or the reflections of a weapon in a game). But these sources are rare and it is normal that their brightness will be higher than the available brightness of your TV. Do not attempt to set the exact value of this parameter. Increase the value so that the sun in the test image is bright enough. Or use table 1 and make sure the value you set is not less than the maximum peak brightness of your TV.

When setting the Standard Brightness slider, your task is to ensure that the image is bright enough, but not the brightest light sources (for example, the fire in the test image) are not at maximum brightness and details are not lost around bright objects.
The recommended value is 350-450. Table 2 below shows the brightness of the fire on the test image, as a reference point.

Keep in mind that since the brightness of most sources is dependent on the values of both sliders, you may need to repeat the Peak Brightness adjustment after adjusting the Standard Brightness, and vice versa.
If your TV can't disable Tone Mapping, then set the Peak Brightness slider to a few thousand nits and adjust the Standard Brightness slider to an acceptable value.
Black Level
Decreasing the value of the Screen Brightness slider will reduce the visibility of objects in the shadows, even if you achieve good black levels. The Screen Brightness slider is recommended to be left at 50.
With the Contrast slider you have to adjust the black level. If you find the image lacking contrast at a value of 5, you can try increasing the value to 7-8, but be aware that too high a value will result in some colors being oversaturated.
Adjust the Saturation slider to your preference, but the default value of 4 is fairly balanced.
