The peak brightness in the game seems to be fixed and not adjustable. This game does not seem to use the PS4 and PS5 system calibration settings.

The game typically has low peak brightness levels around 160nits and rarely rises to 1000nits with spells, glare, etc. If the image seems too dim, use your TV's tone mapping modes or switch to SDR by turning off HDR in the console menu.
