Lies of P - HDR Settings

The peak brightness in the game seems to be fixed and not adjustable. This game does not seem to use the PS5 & Xbox HDR system calibration settings.

The peak brightness limit is about 860 nits.  If your TV brightness is very different from 860 nits, then use the tone mapping modes of your TV.

The game has in-game sliders that adjust Brightness and Contrast. You can try to adjust the black level using the Brightness slider. Leave the slider at its default value or increase the value if the image seems too dark for you. If you cannot achieve an acceptable result, then use the black level settings of your TV.

Also note that the test image on the HDR adjustments screen does not show the actual peak brightness.

Mac version:

On the tested Mac App Store version 1.2.0, the HDR peak brightness was about 2200-2450 nits.
