The peak brightness in the game seems to be fixed and not adjustable. This game does not seem to use the PS5 HDR system calibration settings.
The peak brightness limit is about 900 nits. If your TV brightness is very different from 900 nits, then use the tone mapping modes of your TV.
HDR Brightness Slider - adjusts the mid point, i.e. shift of exposure level towards dark or light. Leave in the middle position or adjust to your preference.
